San Francisco Film School was honored to welcome Oscar-winning film producer Steve Starkey for a special installment of the SFFS Masterclass Series. Best known for his longtime collaboration with director Robert Zemeckis, Starkey has produced eighteen films with Zemeckis, including Forrest Gump, Castaway, Flight, Contact, and The Polar Express.

In this memorable session, Mr. Starkey shared insights from his decades-long career in the industry and offered a behind-the-scenes look at producing some of Hollywood’s most iconic films. In-person attendees also received a complimentary signed copy of his new book, Breaking & Entering: The Education of a Film Producer.
